Watamu
Location
Located in Watamu, 7 km from the village center (comprising 5 km of paved road and 2 km of dirt road), in the ‘Sardegna 2’ area, directly on the beach. It is 20 km from Malindi (a 30-minute drive on dirt road) and 125 km from Mombasa Airport.
The Beach
A pristine white sand beach extending for over 9 km, with 90 m directly in front of the hotel. It is fully equipped with sunbeds and beach towels for guests’ use. The palm trees lining the shore provide ample shaded areas. The area is subject to the tide phenomenon, which shifts every six hours, ensuring easy swimming throughout most of the day.
Rooms
92 rooms (approx. 32 m²) distributed across 6 two-story buildings in Arabic style. All rooms are decorated in traditional style and feature private bathrooms, air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini-fridge, safety deposit box, and a terrace or balcony. Hairdryers are available upon request at the reception.

The staff organizes Swahili language and local cooking classes, dance lessons, and evening shows featuring Maasai, Giriama dancers, acrobats, and cabaret. A Beach Party is held once a week. Guests can also visit the Jacaranda Primary School, located a 20-minute walk from the hotel.
